I want to share with you seven reasons why you need an estate plan.
Number one, you own a home. If you own a home, you need to designate who has the authority and who to pass the home to at your death.
Number two, you have children. It's important that you have a plan that designates who would raise your minor children and who would manage their funds at your death.
Number three, save money. By planning, you'll save your heirs a lot of money. You'll save them on fees, taxes, and court expenses.
Number four, medical issues. If something happens to you and you're not thinking clearly, who will be there to help you make medical decisions?
Number five, preserve harmony. Making financial decisions in advance helps prevent disputes between family members.
Number six, it's smart. A small investment now will pay off in the long run.
And number seven, peace of mind. You've made the plan, and now you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you're prepared.
If any of these points have resonated with you, I'd love to sit down with you to talk about your needs.
